Terms of Service

1. What EDHbots is. EDHbots is a statistical simulator for Magic: The Gathering Commander decks. It estimates outcomes by running many simulated games. It is a tool for thinking about decks, not an authority on them.

2. Results are estimates. Simulation output is produced by a model that does not implement the complete rules of Magic and does not model every card. The proportion of any given deck that is not modelled is disclosed on screen. Results are not predictions of what will happen in a real game, and no result should be treated as a guarantee. Card evaluations, bracket assessments, and recommendations are informational only.

3. Accounts. An account is not required to use any simulation. If you create one, you are responsible for its security and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Your content. Decklists, logged games, and other content you submit remain yours. You grant EDHbots a licence to store and process that content in order to operate the service, and to use it in aggregated and de-identified form to measure and improve the accuracy of the simulator. 5. Acceptable use. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent limits, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or use it to break the law. Automated access to the API outside normal use of the site is not permitted without permission.

6. Support subscriptions. Supporting EDHbots is voluntary and funds server costs. It does not alter simulation results, accuracy, or speed. See the Refund Policy for billing terms.

7. Availability. EDHbots is provided as-is and as-available. There is no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The service may change, break, or be discontinued.

8. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDHbots and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service. Total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding it.

9. Termination. You may stop using EDHbots at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

10. Relationship to Wizards of the Coast. EDHbots is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. It is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast. Card data is sourced from Scryfall. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.

11. Changes. We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

13. Copyright. If you believe content on EDHbots infringes your copyright, email james@nimblo.ai with a description of the work and the URL.
